Step into a craft that few have ever seen. Two artisans work the banku pattaley together. One guides the stone across a spinning copper plate, while the other turns the wheel and responds to every hand signal. There are no diamond powders and no digital measures, only silica made from burnt paddy husk and a lifetime of instinct.
